SCALP MICRO PIGMENTATION EXPLAINED . . .
Pigment is deposited into the dermis of the scalp, fine dots are blended to give the appearance of shaved hair. SMP is an affordable and realistic solution to male pattern baldness whatever the stage. SMP can also be used for hair density. This is where pigment is deposited in the dermis where there is thinning through the hair, this gives the illusion of thicker hair. This works well for women where their parting is thinning or men on the crown area where there is scalp showing through the hair. To keep you
looking fresh, you will need to keep the length maintained. After 2 years you may find you would like your SMP touched up and brought back to life. This is achieved over one session.
The pigment and needle sizes are matched to your hair colour and thickness. SMP is suitable for all skin types and colours, also all hair types and colours. This includes grey, ginger and really blond hair. The tattoo will blend seamlessly with your existing hair, matching exactly. No one will know it is a tattoo.
SCALP MICRO PIGMENTATION THE PROCESS . . .
SMP treatment is carried out over 3 sessions, you can return to work the same day! Results are instant as the full area is covered on all sessions. This gives the blended build up of colour and texture that is needed and matched to the surrounding hair. SMP looks so real that most people will not be able to tell, and cameras can’t either. This treatment is excellent for bringing back your hairline to its natural position, once the treatment is done it makes you look more younger, brings back confidence and you will be walking out of the clinic smiling!
• Your initial consultation in person. A medical questionnaire and a discussion in order to gain an understanding of what results you want to achieve. I will guide you through the process and discuss hairlines and a plan of action.
• Your first visit, and treatment begins. It is best to be conservative on the first session. Experience has taught me this is the best way to achieve the best result, building the colour and texture up gradually. This session is where I will fill in more detail, and go a shade darker than the initial session. This is where you see your treatment coming to life, and you hair line and look perfected.
• The third session. This is to even out any dots of colour and to give the final blend of colour and texture creating the £D effect to the shaved head look. Now you are ready to go.
HAIR LINES . . .
There are different hairlines, such as a widows peak and the edge. These will be discussed with you and kept to the most natural look that is best for you. The hair line with be blended and broken to achieve the most realistic stubble effect. Some people like a darker more sharper look, this can be created too, this is the ‘edge’. Different shades of pigment and needle sizes will be used around the front and sides to fade out the hair. Hair lines suit different ages, I can create the hairline best suited for you. All templates are agreed in advance with the client and reviewed throughout the session.

Prices are agreed on consultation. A payment plan is available please discuss this option during consultation. The cost of the treatment varies and based on the size of the area and skin type also scarring and hair density.
THE NORWOOD SCALE . . .
This is the male pattern baldness scale which ranges from 1-7. 1 being no hair loss to 7 only having hair around the sides and back forming the classic ‘Horseshoe’.
